Fingers crossedThe car has gone for investigations to see if another pair of eyes can solve the EMI issues, it’s not necessarily causing the car not to run how I’d like but I’d still like it perfect so not always trying to find workarounds. Paying that much for a loom you’d expect it all to work flawlessly.

Gearbox should be ready in a few weeks with any luck.
Do you mean the noise of the twin gates ? If so, it’s horrific and I’m going to merge the screamers into one. If that fails I’ll have a fabricator knock up a single gate take off. That manifold looks good imo but would be interested in the noise different between that and twins.
Honestly I dislike driving the car because of the noise![]()
Glad you found the issue, its rubbish that there are people out there who claim to be masters of their trade but aren't.So whilst the weather has turned and I await gearbox I sought out a proper expert with experience of Syvecs, a wiring guy but also a tuner with his own dyno. I arranged to have the car shipped there last week. Having paid all of that money for the loom it’s always nagged at me that it isn’t perfect.
Within 30 mins of him checking the loom he found that the CDI had not been shielded at all, the wrong gauge wire used and all of the grounding incorrect and inadequate. Not only that, LMW ran the ECU/CDI loom together sandwiched at various junctions, being non shielded you can imagine the chaos, no shielding on the trigger wires either.
A place called Tatham Engineering near Spalding.Glad you found the issue, its rubbish that there are people out there who claim to be masters of their trade but aren't.
Out of interest who did you take it to ? There aren't many Syvecs people about in the UK
