Bringing back a basket case

is she bogging? Could be coils with that amount of smoke! I nearly killed myself in the shed once because a coil had died and monty shat loads of fumes on me!I always drive in to the garage just so I don't gas myself ! The CO alarm I have for my gas heater always beeps away if I don't set off instantly !
Just check all the basics first. How long has the fuel sat for ?

I'd filled the plug holes with oil and was turning it over by hand from time to time while it's been parked up the last few years, and had drained the fuel system, as the flexible lines had all cracked. So I think the first attempt was just the fuel system pressurising, and second and smokey third were just it all clearing.
Runs ok now, bit hesitant to idle coming down the revs. It's on old fuel, so will drain the tank and stick news plugs in. It's got a reasonable sized Era port so the idle isn't rock steady anyways.
Had to sort a few issues with a winky headlight (thanks for the tips Craig!) But I'll give it a clean up, then try for an MOT. Should probably pop some new tyres on first though, and some less white indicator bulbs.

Just reading through a bunch of your posts trying to figure out 501 orange LEDs for the indicators. The silvering had degraded and might as well do it properly.
It's all looking a bit in need of some TLC under here
