Visited Knight Racers today to pick up the RE-Amemiya kit, nice guys. Waiting on them to send me the side skirts, canards and fuel cap.
Got front fenders and bumper so far so that I can install the RE lights permanently for the last time. Good kit but will need some work in the body shop.
Ordered up '99 spec combination turn light as well as a Super Now front tow hook, should be arriving by the end of the month hopefully.

Received both '99 spec front combination lights as well as my custom ABS delete lines. - Came faster than excepted
The lines came out really good as I did a trial fit, I gave each line maybe a 1-1.5 inch of play as I really didn't want to reorder again lol.

Got some freshly imported parts from Japan.

Now that my OG 92' bumper has gone, time to install the RE-Amemiya which I've been putting of for a while lol
Pretty impressed with the quality of the bumper from Knight Racers, I thought a lot of problems would have started just by installing the indicator lights but just a little trimming and they fell right in place.
Had some left over 3MM rubber sheeting so used that as a 'rubber washer' to account for flex if any, after all it is fiberglass.

As I do tend to daily the FD as much as possible and want comfort as well as performance in mind, I've chosen to go with a Astra H power steering pump. It already has a built in reservoir and it's not that big in size making it a neat unit to install. Also bought a custom aluminum bracket for it.

System is very nicely tucked up as close as possible to the body of the car
Super happy how the result came out, great welds from Dean too.
Yellow RE-FD is the inspiration of the system, very old skool but also goes well with the RE Kit keeping it retro

Not yet, in the very near future. I want to build this car properly from the start so I’m kind of taking it stage by stage. If I go turbo now I will end up short cutting some stuff which I don’t want to do.
The cars getting a fully custom chassis rewire, custom engine harness and charge harness all on a Haltech Nexus R3 VCU. All the turbo wiring bits will already be in the harness and a lot of other steps have been made already for future turboing.

Thanks, its half turbo, half NA so when I do tend to go turbo half the job is already done for me LMAO. Just down pipe/screamer rest is 3" back.Love the manifold

Custom chassis mounted flush aluminum radiator (Chase bays style) + Filler neck + AN16 fittings and Coolant overflow tank done.
Chase bays was an easy option but the outlets were on the wrong side and I really wanted a clean looking bay (Not show spec but decent) so opted for custom.
Also wanted dual fans (because RACECAR) but after the battery and power steering pump was placed in the engine bay, real-estate got real tight so opted for single which is more than enough. Plus the fans are THIC BOI!!!
