Doing race car stuff.

I bought these tab washers ages ago for using lock wire on fixings that you couldn’t drill, thought I’d try them on the turbine bolts. I have no idea how these are supposed to be installed and there are no pics online, so hopefully this works:

Still chasing down my exhaust leak. Had a custom v-band machined up:

Old manifold is all cracked, so Black Friday purchase:

I did fit the manifold and mock up a downpipe, ready to get wastegates and fit it all up…

…but then I spent all my rx7 money on ski equipment. So here’s a picture of some skis.

Updates!

Moved the car from its grave in Kent to my new place in Matlock. Bought some posh wastegates. Draw filed my turbine housing flange flat, which took forever.

With the car outside my house now I should be making more progress.
