No didn’t manage to get it outside would have been such a hassle to steer without the wheel attached maybe soon

Alternator and starter motor arrived

Really tricky to find used ones In the Uk and new stuff costs a fortune
Starter motor needs modifications but should all work

can drop a v8 in, build a subframe for it to sit in, get it all lined up sweet as a nut with a new gearbox......too lazy to stick a steering wheel on and roll it outside to wash it

Wire wrap turned up and a load of adhesive lined heat shrink so I made a start wrapping it, quite happy with how it turned out but so time consuming

Managed to find some floor matts quite cheap on eBay
And did some more work on the loom
Passenger side engine is nearly done

Thanks man it’s an improvement over how it was before so I’m happy but yeah I get why aftermarket looms are so expensive now

Taking a break from the wiring at the moment cause it’s so time consuming and my workshops very cold
Working away all next week so hopefully I’ll get some motivation back

I’ll be over the moon when it’s all done unfortunately once the engine looms done I’ve gotta look at the Mazda loom

Engine looms pretty much done now, can start on the alternator loom

Managed to get her out today for a dust off because she was basically brown with grinding dust
Real boost in motivation she looks gorgeous!

Slow progress recently but managed to get some stainless box to finish my table off

Cds pipe arrived for the diff brace/ ppf delete
Fusebox is on the way

Clutch is on the way, because I’m using an adapter plate and billet flywheel I’m having too buy two clutches. One for the pressure plate to suit the flywheel and one for the disc to match the splines on my gearbox, pretty annoying but hay ho

Re purposed a bracket in my toolbox to support the shift linkages today so that’s one job ticked off

Got hold of a prop to suit the gearbox I’m using but it’s very long and wrong pcd on the diff end so some chopping will have to happen

Made a start on the rear diff brace to replace the ppf

The pipe bender at work is terrible or I’m terrible I can’t make my mind up which but I managed to get a bend in the pipe to clear the prop flange, bent up some brackets for one of the anchor points
Really pissed off with the bend but it will have to do for now as a prototype cause this pipes quite expensive

Tacked the mounts in this eve where I had the diff jacked up in position I had a nightmare to hold the crossbar in place
Just waiting for it to cool down after welding
