2002 Bathurst - Innocent Blue - initialDean Build

Sure, why not? Most people are after all the performance and optimisation gains they can get when modifying a car like this, all the little bits add up. It'll flow better and is easy to diy yourself at home. The stock castings are quite a way out. The irons are pretty rough cast around the oil pump and that's also an easy diy fix that'll help with oil flow. I'll take any free mod like this to reduce wear or improve the longevity of a motor. It's always fun and rewarding knowing you just made something good better .
Have you ever used Extrude Homing on an intake? I'd love to find a place in the UK that offers it for my intake.

That said, I would probably match the ports on mine when it comes to having the engine out. It's just a time consuming process, but I've done it on every engine rebuild I've done.

guess the shiny bracket

Had another evening of messing about in the garage last night......

started by stripping out the boot and having a look where the water might be coming in

as you will see, there are signs of water in the boot, but as well under the rear seats?

I have found the leak spots for the boot. Its this plastic screw clip and another on the rear of the light fitting sticking through the chassis.

Could it be the same leak finding its way under the rear seats?

Also, what should bolt into here?

Where can i find new ones of these rubber blocks?

IMG_2848.JPG

The trim on my driver door seems to stick up where on the passenger doors its tight back.... why?

These were under the driver seat

Sorted the leak spots on the rear lights last night... hopfully works ok.

I need some more panel clips from the panel around the rear Speaker. Anyone know what they are called?

Rear of the car pretty much back together now. Water leak around the rear lights fixed - Replaced the rear seats - fitted sound proofing around the rear area as well as sorting out any surface rust caused from water leaks.

New Number plate fitted too.... Not sure on it though.

Nice, where were the mats from (Garage Alpha?). I'm definitely in need of a trunk mat!

Another fun night last night... Cant believe I did it so quick - no issues lol
That never happens.

Tidied up the Leather around the gear stick
Replaced the Lens on the Dials as the old one looked like someone had tried to clean it with acid
Removed the MPH sticker as it looked crap.
Cleaned everything

BOOM!

Did you sort your sticking up driver side window trim?
Not looked at that yet - working from the inside of the car out with the F'd engine being last on the list.

Any ideas with the window trim? was going to just remove it and try and re fit

Hello mate, what sound deadening did you use? Has it made a noticeable difference?
