RX7 DRAGY RESULTS...POST EM UP.

This century we can but a VW Golf out the factory and it would slay our 90's Japanese legends. Some People have kept their cars stock, Some have modified them to try keep up with modern tech. A great way of seeing changes that you have done to performance is use a Dragy box.

Super common to buy / use / borrow, Thought would be a good idea to put some up here. 100-200kmh times is the usual gauge of a cars power.
this one is me running in the new engine so only 1.2-1.4 ish bar 1.2 bar still to go.

As I suspected the DCT box brings the rx7 into the modern era and your dragy gps confirms this. 5.5s from 100-200 kph is seriously fast.

Any idea exactly what kind power you were running? 500-600 is a big variation haha! My guess is you are at the 600hp range, Im closer to the 500hp range and even with the DCT advantage you seem to be in a whole other league of performance.

Your 60-100mph time of 2.98s is also mega impressive. This is faster than a stage 3 700hp M4. Well done mate, seriously impressive results! You've shaved a clean 1.04s off my best run from 60-100mph and no doubt even more if I had data for 100-200kph at the 400rwhp level!

That 60-100 of 2.98 isn't accurate
I've seen the difference between 100-160 and 60-100 and it's usually a abit (at my lower performance level )

Very impressive results doubt any rx7 will be faster here

ohh so i need to update this. Im now 4.5 100-200 but ill need to do again as i want 100% throttle untill 1 second into the run due to traction issues

Dragy GPS verified data - 60 - 100 mph, 60 - 130 mph and 100 - 200 kph (62 - 124 mph)

Evening Gentlemen, I was hoping to create a sticky where we can post accurate Dragy GPS verified acceleration data for 60 - 100 mph, 60 - 130 mph and 100 - 200 kph. In theory making it easier for fellow RX7 owners to check and verify their dyno numbers against similar builds and see real world...

My fastest run...no where near as quick as a 5.5s run you did though!

Got a potato cam to capture some dragy run overlays....was struggling to find good cam placement etc....plus not easy when doing the runs in mexico in the middle of night. Not the fastest but pretty good for 17psi and fairly close to my pb from last year.

Does Vbox count? haha 2.85 100-200 so far.
Going back to single turbo again with GXR45 and electric straight gate so will be interesting to see if the road will hold the power this time. Constantly battling with traction. Bring on the summer months.
