These turned up earlier, I bought from the link at the start of this thread... are they correct? Where do I put the ballast, how can I take them apart?

SignUp Now!Exactly that, it even tells you to do this in the paperwork that comes with the bulbs. Not that anyone reads instructionsI think that someone said in another thread that you can reverse the heatsink, so that the larger portion is nearer the headlght which means it can clear it

Everything fits within the headlight bucket with no mods. I may have posted a pic in my build thread back in 2016 of it all installed but cannot remember for sure..
Headlight covers are held in with M5 bolts, the rest of the hardware are M6. Just go nuts on Ebay for sourcing them. Not gone so easy for me... First, someone had screwed my height cover on with Tek screws!! Second, almost all the screws holding the other headlight cover have rusted and can't take the lead of my screw driver. I've doused them with WD40 and will try again next time I have 30 minutes spare xD.
But does anyone know where I can get a new set of screws for when I put headlights back together? I'd rather not use these crusty old things
Thanks a lot, on it!Headlight covers are held in with M5 bolts, the rest of the hardware are M6. Just go nuts on Ebay for sourcing them.
The 4 black ones holding the cover in, 2 at the front, 2 at the back,Which bolts we talking about here?
My car had self tapper screws in one of the holes but the others had M5. I replaced mine with M5 since there's a threaded portion that fits M5 perfectly. Replaced all 8 bolts between the 2 headlights and they all fit perfectly so I don't think it was a coincidence hahaI think they are just like Self Tapper type screws, not machine screws... ill check as mine are still off the car.
