Fuel cut after new mid section exhaust

Hello,

I just had a silenced mid section installed on my FD and found on a wide open throttle pull it felt like it fuel cut hard...

It was mapped by the original owner by Pip running just breathing mods and injectors with a PowerFC at 345bhp.

From my understanding it never got an updated fuel pump so could it just be the pump isn't up to it or should it be mapped again with the different exhaust?

Cheers
Alex

For the sake of an hour on the dyno its cheaper than a rebuild. You could have maxed the injectors out if you are running stock injectors.

As Above. uprated pump, direct power mod, resistor removal and a decent map

^^I have one of those, Stu recommended it to me. Direct fit and works well enough.

Thanks for the response but ideally I need someone from the south west.

3hour drive on a possible bad fueling map is surely a way to make things worse.

Also looks like someone has rewired the pump somewhere along the line

Dude there is no one local. You will have to travel.

If you don't want to drive it then get it on a trailer.
However sat at 70mph on the motorway is the least stress possible on an engine

A good map makes a huge difference to how the car will run and drive.

Stu/Jaydee and Marco are the two you want to be considering using, it will be worth the travel

Someone recommended garage reg which is only an hour and half away so I'm gonna get in touch.

I've sent them an email so I'll see what they say.

I also installed the Quantum 340LPH pump this morning and drove it round the block.
