So turns out my first attempt at the new front diff bracket was completely wrong, I’d put all the strengthening on the mounting face 🤦‍♂️

This is version two that should definitely fit on the diff
Will try it tonight

I’ve been meaning to sort out the charge and start loom for years it’s always caused problems
I had used the 13b loom but modified to suit the v8

The cable sizing was a bit too small and the engine would always crank slow and there was a load of cables that didn’t need to be there

Finally got round to making a start tonight after a year of neglect

new starter and alternator power cables are done and I’ve removed the useless wires and sleeving

Hopefully finish it off tomorrow with some nice new sleeving

So after my starter cable work the starter motor broke
I took it to a local place that refurbs starters and alternators but they had trouble getting the parts
I didn’t want to buy new cause they’re about £350 to buy in uk but the refurb place sourced me one for £110 result

Replaced the battery earth for a bigger gauge wire
Turns out the old earth strap was made with audio sub wire

Fitted the new starter yesterday with new bolts

Then proceeded to take the car apart again

While I was under the car I noticed one of the rad fans was smashed to bits it looked like something had hit the radiators and pushed one side back

turns out the radiator was very bent

I’m looking for a new one to modify now to sit higher from the floor

Scanned the front of the car so I can get measurements whenever I need

Quite the twist on that. How did it get like that without the rest of the front end getting out of shape?

Almost a year later I’ve got a bit of intrest in it again

Bought a Mazda r100 radiator and chopped and changed a few bits to make it suit my application

Got a laser cut fan shroud made and some new hoses made

Really happy with how the radiator sits but unfortunately my intake pipe no longer fits

I’m planning to 3d print a load of pie cuts to work out how I can route the pipe then make it in titanium

Ohh, nice! I have been thinking of trying that out :)
Did you just make them up? I've seen a variety stl files, but not downloaded any of them :)

So finally finished the radiator install
Fans wired in using a nice deutch connector
Printed a rad mount
Intake sorted
Charged the battery and took her outside for a clean
2 years of dust removed

Battery ended up being dead after me leaving it connected for a year but got another slightly taller
Designed and printed a hold down plate
