Disc sizes type rz

Hi If this has been asked before sorry
But would you lovely guys be able to tell me the sizes and widths of the type rz discs please iv some other callipers that I would like to use but require larger than stock discs

 

[Myocardial Infarction]

TYPE RS, RZ and Spirit R (Type A & B)
Tires: F 235/45ZR17, R 255/40ZR17
Wheels: F 17 X 8, R 17 X 8.5
Brakes:
Front pistons - Leading 33.9 mm, Trailing 38.1 mm
Front disk diameter - 314 mm
Front disk thickness - 32 mm
Rear piston - 34.9 mm
Rear disk diameter - 314 mm
Rear disk thickness - 20 mm

The RX-7 caliper is the same whether you are running the larger discs above or the discs that come on non-RS, RZ and Spirit R models:

294mm x 22mm up front

294 x 20mm in the rear.

The rears are the same caliper, just a different bracket but the front calipers are different I thought. There's no bracket on the fronts is incorporated in the casting.

Type R/RB front calipers use pistons which are all 36.1mm in diameter. Type RS/RZ ones use 33.9mm and 38.1mm pistons in a staggered configuration.

The overall piston area is more or less identical for both though.

Don’t suppose anyone has a link for the rs pistons, or the part numbers for them?

I stand corrected on the calipers. I never owned anything but my RS.
