2002 Bathurst - Innocent Blue - initialDean Build

Pull the engine yourself its a piece of piss. I guess mazda knew they would need to come out quite often lol. Then drop it off with chosen builder, will save a good bit of cash and you will learn a lot about the car.

really tempted to do this

really tempted to do this

It took me roughly 3hrs to remove the 13b on my own from a fd and it was my first time. However it's by far the easiest engine removal I've ever done its honestly a piece of piss. The clutch is abit of a twat but apart from that its plain sailing although you are probably stock clutch and thats easy so no drama really.

Finally fitted the new wheel arch liners last night.. I think I have them on right lol

I need a new battery - any recommendations?

And what are these plastic clips meant to be for?

Are they taped up?

They're not supposed to look like that. You just push a plastic clip/trim piece through the hole in the bumper tabs to hold the bumper down to the bumper support. It keeps the mouth in the correct shape and makes it a bit more rigid.

Ah ok then what I have bought should work. The ones i have are cable tied underneath as i think they have snapped off at some point and they are all sun weathered

Whats a mindisc?

.. haven't we had this conversation before?

Surely you're not too young to remember mini discs Joe?! They were a huge flop, for something that was in use for such a little amount of time it's amazing how often you find the changers fitted in cars! Or maybe I just buy too many old cars .

I remember one (like one minidisc) yes. But as you say massive flop so never seen them in use. Never seen a mini disc player

The last conversation was just get a Bluetooth head unit.
