Clutch replacement recommendations

Take the inspection cover off and see if you got any oil in the bell housing

Clutch started slipping today, not sure what has happened but since it worked fine for a day then not another I'm thinking clutch hydraulics etc are playing up and possibly air in the system.

Anything fluid related shouldnt cause the clutch to slip as the fluid is for releasing the clutch not holding it engaged.
By all means give bleeding it a go but can be a bastard to do on these.

Its probably just different states of being warmed up wether it works or not.

Could it possibly be that it's not releasing the clutch properly hence the slipping?. About 5 years ago when my slave cylinder was on it's way out I had issues with the pedal not returning when changing gears.

Well yeah, but that's not what you described in post 1.

That's the only thing the hydraulics do so if it only happens after changing gear then yeah.

If it happens randomly in the middle of the rev rang it can't be hydraulics must be friction plate

Well if you decide you need a new clutch i have an Exedy stage 2 clutch and exedy flywheel for sale £600 all in brand new and boxed

Selling as i will require a twin plate

Took it out for a drive yesterday and it was working perfectly fine and never slipped in any gear so the clutch itself seems ok. Just need to fine out why it went funny for a few days. Bleeding the system last night and will finish it today (I hope).

I never got a chance to check the inspection cover last night. What should I look for once I'm looking through it?.

I've just been reading on another forum about someone with similar problems and it turned out to be his rear main oil seal was leaking and contaminating his clutch just a thought
