Rotary Track Day with Magnitude Events - 5th July 2019

Nice to see new faces meeting @cib24 has been a long time coming!

I had my first twin turbo experience in stu and jays car and jay didn't half drive the nuts off it!

@Adam was a hero for 6 laps and I hope he gets it back on the road asap. It's not often I fear for my life 😂
 
Made it back💪.
Good to meet some new to me faces.
Compression got better after a few miles and she started idling perfect again until an M4 wanted to race so I hit him with the full 26psi🤪 (can’t help myself).
She didn’t like that and started shaking and sputtering for a couple of miles and I was kicking myself but then she cleared again.
Even went for a McDonald’s drive through.
Stayed in vacuum mostly for the rest of the drive home.
Started pulling her apart after I put the kids to bed.
Had to go to work this morning but have the afternoon free so expect a damage report tonight.
Despite the obvious I really enjoyed it.
It’s only a toy so I treat it as such, go big or go home or both in my case.
Last night:
No turbine damage(26psi💪)

Jay did well by us, all I had to do was get the cars there and he made sure we were catered for all day, and the club format was excellent.

I hope we will get enough interest for another one next year!
 

Split screen of my fastest lap at the day we did in 2018 vs the 2019 Rotary only day. I think that I personally drove better on the 2018 day. Differences between the 2 were:

2018: Car on Apexi ECU tuned to 1.1bar and pretty much hitting that all day. I was suffering with brake fade issues though.
2019: Car on Link tuned higher, but only seeing 1-1.1 bar in most cases due to the ECU compensating for a much hotter day. New K-Sports with Pagid RS29s were doing the business of stopping me consistently all day.

Let me spend some time uploading videos tonight. I just haven't sat down at my PC and done it so my bad. I am also waiting for a link from Magnitude Events for photos they took on the day. I hope to share that soon as well.
