Rotary Track Day with Magnitude Events - 5th July 2019

I live an hour away. I'll pop down the A1 and fill up in Doncaster, and bring a 20ltr Jerry can with me just in case.
 
Haha if that would even save it i would, unfortunately we are that far from anywhere even choppers would take forever. They would probably boat me to a rig then off from there. Unfortunately the whole ship knows I'm boiling about missing my trackday already as I've been throwing shifters about and generally been pretty uncooperative.

Gutted!, i go to trackdays regular and near always on my jack jones. Finally a chance for some decent patter and a good thrash out and i get fucked. AGAIN!!!!!

Stavanger your kidding, a chipper would need to refuel a few times. I was hoping for ksund then flights home from there.

I'm probably looking to get there for about 7/8
I've got the day off but need to give my car a bit of a service first, will be getting petrol on the way there on thursday, hopefully last the day but will see.

Will be in the bar, and better as a free for all surely?
Can't really drink at the minute so will have to have only 1 or 2 :(

Get a one-way rental from Peterheed to your house, pick up the car, have the wife drop off the rental, and blitz down the motorway to the track. :)

What time do you arrive in Peterheed because our track day will last until about 7pm or possibly even later.
 
I'm not sure, if it's at all feasible ill still come down but it's another 3hr drive once I'm home and get the car ready. I'll see.

From what I'm reading on this forum and the RX-8 forum at least 10 guys are bringing their entire tool sheds, trailers, etc. So much so that you could rebuild the whole car during the day. Therefore, I would just bring some oil and water and drive down as plenty of people will have a spare of whatever you need.
 
It will all depend on what time i actually arrive back at home Roy. If its morning ill be heading down but if it's afternoon it's too far to drive for an hour or two after mandatory sighting laps.

Is someone bringing a jack? saves me bringing mine.
I'll bring some choice tools but not as much as I had last time

Are you definitely bringing your car? Stu and Jay will be there and have offered to do some minor tuning on various cars so long as it doesn't take too long so if your car is running decent they may be able to help refine it if you are very nice ;-P
 
I've got tomorrow off so I can head up whenever, will have to dash a bit early on the Friday because I've got a meal booked in Chester 🤦‍♂️

Yeah it worked last I drove it on Sunday so that's the plan.
Gonna give it a bit of a service tomorrow so should be golden.

Been tuned on the Dyno on Sunday so ready to go! only running 7/8 psi though but made around 350bhp, so that's plenty for me for now
My idle needs playing with a bit though.
 
We won't be able to get away until around 6.00pm, 185 miles to the Hotel so please don't drink all the beer at the Becketts as we will need a few
before bed time..
