Hello,
I am planning to have the car resprayed in May and would like to know which bits are likely to get broken or need replacing.
Car is a 92 FD
I know the beltline trim (below window on door) are pretty shabby, but there must be other bits that are likely to be brittle that I can organise now and have ready for then it goes in.
Any part numbers would be great as well to save me hunting them down later.
Finally should I get parts from RHD japan or use the local Mazda garage?

Thanks
Lee

I've gotten new front and rear window seals and all associated bits from my local mazda dealer.

I've replaced the wings and fitted a 99spec front bumper along with new headlight assemblys with no issues breaking anything.

Everything bolt off and on no problem.

Just had a respray on mine, only issues i had were the beltline strips on doors and the fact you have to cut the front and rear screen finishers out if removing glass ( I ordered all new from mazda). As Rmcyes said everything is quite easy bolt on and off, its always the plastic trims and clips that can be a pain.

Thanks for the responses.
I don't suppose you have the part numbers for the F + R window seals please?

Look up Mould window Fr (Front FD0150601B) and Mould RR window (Rear FD01506G0B) , this was on my invoice from mazda. I've yet to fit but they look right and had them out the packaging for a closer look. Glass is bonded in first followed by these finishing moulds, the door beltline strips are on there too, hope this helps :)
