Hey so im very new too the rotary platform i have a bone stock series 8 1999 rs and went for a drive on the weekend .. tried too spin the wheels up from a stand still , didn't quite work and wheel hopped then in a instant it started misfiring and came too a complete stop and wouldn't start even after bridging the diagnostic box ect and no smell of fuel anywhere after cranking but ended up getting recovered...

So inital thought was the hopping broke a wire or made the pump come off in the tank but after opening the tank up everything all looks good.

I tested the pump putting 12v too it and it works and also tested the plug that connects too the top of the hanger and it gets power

So I assume the issue lays somewhere in the bay ?

Any suggestions or previous experience of this would be appreciated thanks !

Edit**
Update ruled the tank off as the pump works submerged in fuel and all connectors on on the hanger are fine giving power.

Checked the plugs and they are dry after cranking so next step is uim off and check if the injectors are getting 12v and receiving fuel/not sticking

Are you sure it’s the CAS wiring. No sure how that contacts any belts from how it’s orientated. The OMP wiring could though if someone didn’t put all the clips back

Yeahh had a good look and unfortunately its one of the looms that go into the omp not ideal

All sorted was one out of the two looms that go into the OMP bottom of the engine caught on the belts and ripped it up , so heads if worth a check as seems from factory its not routed very good or can just tie the looms out the way so they are safe

But runs a treat now !
