What the hell is this?

What is this little box with heatsink device type thing hidden under the brake master for? Sorry for the noob question I just have no idea. Theres a little one on the other side of the car that I think is an external temp sensor.... but whats this?

Usually those types of devices are voltage rectifiers. But I don't own a FD, just commenting on what I've seen on other vehicles.

Yea fuel pump resistor, and for your reference there is another on the other side and im sure its the ignition coil igniter.

Thanks Nuki. Yeah i've just removed the ignition ignitor as i'm going to AEM coils. There is a little black box type sensor next to the ignitor though, maybe an inch square? I'm assuming thats for temp or something
