Hey guys. I've got an odd issue with my 1992 UK FD.

Under braking all the washer fluid pisses out of the jets. It doesn't activate the motor it just seems to all be pushed out by the braking force.

Any ideas?

Bloody good brakes those!!!! The washer tank is low at the front off the bay so it must be pressuring somehow.

Keep us posted, interesting one this.

Could it be heat in the boot? Or maybe a one way valve has failed and letting water gravity feed to the nozzles (in the uk spec as the bottle is so far back)

Yea the bottle is in the back guys. Do you know if there is a one way valve as that would be the obvious. It's not pressuring at all it's just like a gravity thing! Odd one!

It will be the check valve before the jets, there couple quid of Ebay. I had the same issue when I moved mine to the boot and forgot to put the check valve back in.

Awesome cheers bud! Where should it be located? Under the bonnet? Is that what I need to search for on Ebay?

Is it just a standard non return valve like this?
