First of all - I apologise if I am slow to reply to messages, life is not awesome RN - but this car is one of the few successful bits!

Second - some of these may sound trivial, particularly when the car isn't on the road yet!

It's a list I am making as I remember, so I'll probably add or edit things on it.

Really daft:

Where do you get the right E-clips for the turbo wastegates!

Also - the U-clips with 10mm nuts on - I found some on Amazon but they're too short. Is there a place to get the proper depth?

Trim items:

A fusebox cover for the underbonnet fusebox near the strut tower - mine's been cut by something!

Door handle pocket for the driver's side (broken edge on the plastic).

Factory footwell mat retainers (turning bit broken off).

A sunroof light switch/interior light for sunroof (switch appears broken on the moulding inside, no response from poking the exposed button).

The trim clips that hold the bumper edge on to the undertray support thing (lower inside air intake, behind foglight - sort of flat plastic bit. Doesn't look generic?).

Battery box cover.

A source for those gold-screws with the lines in that I am guessing are designed to avoid over-tightening?

Replacements for the bushes that hold the air intake to the bracket next to the alternator - the rubber part has degraded and broken up.

Mechanical:

Thermostat housing - bought one from RisingSun on eBay!

Coolant pipes - does anyone make a complete set of black silcone replacements for unmodified UK cars?

Radiator - I feel like I should replace it, as it's 32 years old and sat in a garage with no/bad mixed coolant in for 16-18 years. But there seem to be "proper upgraded" ones, and then "AliExpress with a plausible name". I'd be okay with a known good, clean stock one from a car that's getting upgraded.

Oil lines - I'd been looking at braided upgrades listed by RocketDog but as with the fuel lines, I am worried that RX-7 and RX-8 have been mixed up
somewhere.

I'm not sure the oil lines are a problem - it could be the leak is from the filler neck/elsewhere and soaking them.

(Throttle cable - got a new one ordered)

A/C condenser (R134a) - the A/C has never worked apparently. The condenser looks like it's bowing and warped so yeah, that won't be helping - also the A/C clutch wire isn't connected 😂

The compressor does seem to turn by hand without any unpleasant noises, so I'm up for replacing that, the seals, the receiver/dryer and regassing it. I'll no doubt learn the evaporator is toast as well.

Bigger, scarier stuff:

Found a bit of tooth on the diff drain plug. So, I don't have budget for this yet but I'm keeping an eye out for a replacement diff.

I don't know which tooth is broken, so I'm not sure if I just need a torsen LSD bit or more.

Cat-back exhaust. Missed one on eBay annoyingly! Really wanted to keep the car stock rather than fit anything fancy, but a stainless factory-spec one (not too lively, two tailpipe) would be good. Looks like my backbox is splitting and rusted near the back seam so it might be fixable but better to replace I think.

UK-spec rear bumper. I did see a couple for sale last year, but worried about the edge/bracket bits needing repair. Mine's got a massive crack and repair needed on one corner (the car needs repair here for restoration). This depends on me having a new job/money if I'm offered one as I'll just be storing it until the bodywork can be done on that quarter.
