Hi All,

I have a number of CF parts that I'm considering selling (if it is worth my while) so would appreciate your thoughts on the value the items before adding a for sale thread. All items are in perfect condition with no scratches or chips unless stated otherwise below. I've been out of the world of FD's for some time now so have no idea on values of the current market.

I have the following I am going to list:
1) Seibon CF drivers/passenger doors with plexiglass (drivers side has sliding hatch) and all seals attached.
2) Seibon CF bonnet (Scoot type) with aero catches neatly installed and will come with the receiving bolts.
3) Seibon CF rear hatch with plexiglass installed and CF roof tip spoiler attached (I wont separate them)
4) Carbon Creations C2 type front bumper
5) Carbon creations C2 type side skirts
6) Carbon Creations C2 type rear bumper (has some mods cut out of it and would require some repair)
7) CF front fenders (BN type with side vents)

If I find the sale is worth my while it will assist with getting my car painted and back on the road. otherwise, I will keep the CF parts and just paints less of the car.

Appreciate your input thanks.

Scott.

70 views and not a single comment made... wow thanks guys. I see this forum has lost all of the FD3S magic since FDUK was sidelined

IMO new cost x 50%

The rear bumper I'd say 25% new value based on your description.

But this is so subjective and my idea of the value based on what I have realistically achieved for parts, as while you state it's all perfect you'd as a minimum need some pics m8e. Also I have no idea on the cost of those items and I haven't the time or inclination to go looking at new and other sale prices for you. Maybe suggest some prices and ask if they're reasonable.

Also honestly what value is someone coming in and giving you a price, which you'll either love as it's more than you thought or massively under and then you'll be dissapointed? List it up for sale at the price you want for it and if you get an offer you can consider it. If you get no offers then it's either too expensive or there isn't someone out there presently wanting to buy (but considering Rageness's wanted post which Neil kindly tagged you in I think there is the perfect person)

In my experience the people who are going to have a value in mind are likely the ones who might buy it and therefore if I were in that situation I wouldn't want to suggest a price to you and then want to make you an offer.

I don't know this forum software but remember there are as at time of this post: Total: 39 (members: 12, guests: 27) Active on the forum. So that's 2.5x the number of guests to actual posting members and some of those guests can be search engine bots so a thread could get a number of views from bots for google and the like, who obviously are not going to answer, number of guests who have no privaleges to answer and prob only casual browsers and a few members, of which you need to find one that is willing to spend a couple minutes posting their thoughts.

I’d agree with the above. 50% or new cost.

looking at the pic above what’s not fitting right the bumper or the bonnet?

I'm heading down to service the car today so will take some pictures as suggested thanks. The 50% of the new price is roughly where I thought is appropriate cheers guys.
