Please comment with suggestions or attendance at an event and your name will be added below the event. If we can get 5 cars or more booked for a track day, it is likely that I can get a 5-10% discount and/or discounted garages.

These are all very likely possibilities for me working around my current rota. I'm just hoping nothing changes.

Good idea. We should have a "2018 Track Day / Drag Day Calendar" thread.
 
See updated list above. This will change over time but note that I can most likely get 5-10% off booking prices if we have at least 5 cars signed up in good time ahead of an event. The more frequent we have a presence at events with these track car companies the more likely discounts will always be availble for FD:OC members and/or we will get comped garage space.

I have chosen tracks all over the country (outside of Scotland as I couldn't find dates for the one track there) and I will do my best to make quite a few of these so that we have a consistent FD:OC presence there.

Please come along to at least one event this year, even if it's not in your FD.
 
Santa Pod ticket purchased. Is anyone interested in going to Snetterton with me on 17th April? Or any other track day on the list for that matter?
 
I do feel that I need to give Snetterton another go after the recent washout so could be tempted.

I've just booked a day at Kendrew Barracks on 24 March. There's currently about a dozen RX-8's booked on it.
 
Can't do that one I'm afraid. On vacation in the Highlands. And that track is a bit of a poor surface with lots of rocks? Not the best for the FD?

Loose rocks shouldn't be an issue. Apparently the Kendrew track is given the road sweeper treatment. I'm considering taking the FD instead of the 8 for that one all being well...
 
I wouldn't recommend kendrew barracks due to the surface, last year i did a track day there and the front of my car was punished heavy stone chips on the bumper and windscreen,

may be up for snett on the 17th
 
Alright, well if you guys are up for Snetterton I can get us a garage to share on the day.

Kendrew doesn't sound appealing then. I'll stick to legitimate tracks that BTTC uses.

Im very interested, however i will hold off on purchasing until i can confirm my car is in good order.

How many people stayed over, would there be any concerns with bringin my car on a trailer overnight at premier inn / travel lodge ?

Ps anyone up for Bedford? (ps car needs to be quiet)

I need to sort out dB levels, it’s the loudest fdocing thing I’ve ever heard.
 
Just to add to the list is an earlier trackday for croft 24th may. Think i will be booking this next week but will confirm when i have.
