Sticky central locking/can't open passenger door

Just in time for Japfest, my car has decided it will not accept passengers.

I can't seem to open it from inside from the lock (doesn't move) or interior handle or outside using the key and exterior handle.

Any advice on how to rectify??

Take the cover off behind the lock in the interior off the car.
Should be 2x bolts to undo and then you can remove the exterior door handle.
Pop it off the rods for locking and opening. Then try and move the rods yourselves to check they are functioning correctly.
I had a similar issue before and it was slop in the mechanism not actuating the rods properly

Actually, before I go all heavy handed on the door card. Any advise on tools and methods to preserve any clips and the brittle af plastics?

No need to take door card off (you wont be able to until you can open the door)
All you need to do is pop this cover off (just pull)

Did as you advised. Gave them a wiggle in either direction. Seemed to loosen whatever was jamming them up.

The interior lock or the doesn't seem to work. But it's locking and unlocking off the central locking.
