Shock re-gas/rebuild or replace??

Hi guys, looking for some advice pleaseee!

I made the mistake of buying some used tokico adjustable suspension with springs off someone's project RX7 who said they were fine to use.

I stripped them apart to repaint the coils and then realised 3 of the 4 shocks dont spring back up properly. So looks like they need replacing - my fault for trusting him!!

Question - can you get shock absorbers repaired? Anyone no of anyone that can do this?

Or would it be cheaper to buy new shocks to go with these freshly painted coils!?

Any advice would be really appreciated!

youre better off just buying a new set. You can get a decent set of coilovers for not much money these days
