Just wanted to give a quick review of my experiences with Rotor Torque Ltd. They're based in Rayleigh, just near Southend.
Short version: Stu & Jay are great, super helpful and I'll 100% be taking my RX7 back to them for any future work.

Long version: prior to dropping off my car, I'd been on the phone with Stu a few times explaining my situation as a new owner and a few things I'd be looking to do. Despite not actually being a paying customer at this point, Stu was happy to help over the phone and guide me through things as I'm not the most mechanically minded. He was patient with my lack of knowledge which I really appreciate.

I dropped my car off to them in April 2022 for a few things: installation of a new ECU (with some sensors), a new clutch, sorting out an issue with the rats nest, and a general health check on the car and sorting whatever smaller bits needed sorting.

The car was ready to pick up only two or three weeks later while I had been expecting it to be gone for at least a month. During its time at the shop, Stu called me often to keep me updated with how it's going and consulting me with any decisions that needed to be made.

Once I had the car back, the difference was night and day, and touchwood I've not had a single issue in the months following the visit. Along with the new bits I had installed, my radiator fans are fixed, along with no more leaking coolant, meaning that my temps stay manageable on a stock setup even when idle in traffic or beating on it on a hot day. The stock sequential twins boost when they should, and damn is that an addictive feeling. And Stu made sure to let me know of any other minor issue to keep an eye on as time passes.

I bumped into Stu and Jay at the 7s Day event (July 2022) at Bicester Heritage, and Stu was quick to check up on me and ensure the car is still doing well. It was my first time properly meeting and chatting with Jay, and he was equally as friendly as Stu. Both guys are super genuine and happy to help, and the fact that most RX7 owners I've spoken to (who are based all over the UK) will immediately recommend Rotor Torque made me feel at ease with my decision to trust them with my car.

As I mentioned before, extremely helpful guys who I'll 100% be taking my car back to. If you're considering taking your car to them, do it!

Here's a picture as a reward for reading all of this 😁

can you let Stu know I am keen to have work done - been trying to reach him for a while now without success, if the work is not his bag then I hope to learn of this so I can work on another plan. Thanks
