Just got this delivered today think its my 7th fd and 11th rotary . Lots to do to recomission it. First thing this weekend drop all fluids, flush and re fill. See if we can get it started then work through the brakes and hopefully get it mot,d.
It also has a 20 year old wrap on it which has shrunk and split. Not looking forward to getting that off.

Love the wheels, if you can get in a paint booth and heat it up the wrap might come off easier, never done it with 20 year old wrap

Im hoping heat helps although its rock solid and brittle so reckon i need to allow a week or so

Started on the 7 today. Overall condition is very good only usual surface rust underneath but very sound so was happy with that.

Got some power in the battery and it started after about 20 seconds now it starts on the key through the window.

Gone through the brakes and all literally have no wear just surface grime from being stood, nothing seized or stuck at all.

Dropped and flushed coolant. Put in new and let it get hot and no champagne bubbles which was nice.
Dropped and changed the oil and filter aswell.

Only thing I need is an omp, some blanking plates, underdrive kit and some of the plastics from underneath at the front.

Oh also found out it has meister coilovers not D2 so happy with that.

Luckily this one was stood for 7 years then fully recommissioned and used for a few years then it had full service and a load of bits then 6 months later got stood for about 3 years and now I have it
