Cool vid mate and great progress, is that you done for now or more stuff planned?

Cheers mate.

Got a manifold on the way haha. Going to convert to twin external gates and go 1.4bar on a high boost setting and 1.2 for low. Would like to make 500hp or close. It's annoying me I can't use the efr to it's full potential. The bottom and mid end of this map is tuned right down atm as to somewhat control the boost but it's still spiking so time for ewg.

Also probably going to stick some updated ARBs and a brake kit ready for track use. Probably swap to a link ecu and boost control solenoid aswell.

I found new Mazda bushes as the best compromise tbh as personally i found polybushes hard as fuck. There are quite a few modern options coming into the market for this recently though.

I replaced all of mine for oem mazda in 2012 and they are still in really great shape but admittedly i don't do a lot of miles

I got polybushed fully. Car is comfy and not craahy at all. I think it depends somewhat how the hard the suspension is setup.

if you used powerflex Polybushes, they are very poor design and bind up, so that is what you maybe felt neil.

Yeah it was just my experience of riding in two seperate polybushed fd's. Both felt very similar in a crashy, hard type way and quite skippy over bumps.

Imo another track mod that is a bit to much for a street car.

Come take a ride in mine. None of that happening.. although I know what you mean. I have too been in some polybushed cars and had the same. Essentially the shore rating of the bushes used must have been too high. Whenever I fit a bush now I make sure it's about 70-80 shoreA if it's on a suspension arm.

Ah ok, i didn't know that. That was very likely the problem then 👍

Finally found a good set off oem rear spats for a very reasonable price.

I got mine from the US mate. Drives like stock but is rated for 450ft lbs. I didn't want a twin plate as they are to much like a on / off switch and this is primarily a road car with the intention of few track days a year.

Just put my latest youtube video up. Hit me up with a like and subscribe, be much appreciated. I'm going to be doing lots of jobs on the car in the near future including converting my 8374 setup to external screamers pipes

Low on production value, high on charm..... ;)
