Your old GTR is stunning! RX7 looks awsome too.
So much character in these jap cars like....
I need to say though. Dont use them fuel injectors. they are designed for gas indicated by the yellow oring on top. Rubber pintle internals.
How are you finding the AR1's
Cheers buddy that gtr was my final hurrah in the skyline world. The engine had been built to take 1000hp but life came calling before I got the supporting mods together. I only ever drove it at 730 but then I turned boost back down as fuel system that was ok the car at the time was basically maxed out at that power level, still shifted at about 650 though to be fair.
I was unaware those injectors weren't right that is something I will look into thanks for heads up.
AR1's initially seem extremely good but a true test will require a track. Only downside is they are quite loud but that's part of The parcel with racing semi slicks.
Nice, I did use the nankans ns2r for a couple trackdays, they were awsome. AR1's most likly be better, ive got a part work set of R88R to compare with. My fastest tracktime at knockhill was my lowest power of 350bhp . 57-58 seconds. When 600 odd bhp i was laping a second slower with shite tyres. shows ya how much diffrence a good set of tyres can make
Exactly! Limiting the k20 engine to 400bhp will give me opertunity to work on suspention and setup. i think all that power was too much of a jump to even understand what the suspention was doingLater braking and faster exit speeds are essential to a quick lap. Not to mention you would be able to get WOT sooner on exit.

This is the same reason im content with a smaller turbo. 400bhp in a fd is ample to be very very quick on a circuit. The range of power was more important to me than the peak power. Working then with suspension and brakes you have more chance to actually get efficient power down to the tarmac. 600bhp while must be immense fun, must be a handful to keep it neat.
Looking great but shit man you need a decent steering wheel
Looks good mate, I like what you did with the injection kit, very neat. Did you go for premixed water/meth in the end?
It's in the garage as always, not bothering to sorn it so I can give it a run out on nice daysCheers bud. Yeah I'm using devilsown 50/50. Your car off the road yet or you got one more outting in you?
