Hey up lads.

I'm going for a drive on Sunday 9th of September. Wondering if any of you lot would like to join.

Obviously sensible people are welcome. If your one of those that plays "hogs of the road" then really please don't show up.

This is the route so far planned. Thinking of leaving at high noon which leaves plenty of time to get home in time for tea.

Nice 👍 and make sure you get videos and photos 👍
Our meet was only small but was excellent 😆

I'd be all for this but just stripped the cooling system again to refine the EWP that I installed a few weeks ago so it's probably a weekend working on the car not driving it.

Haha yea it's short notice.

There's not many nice days left before the car gets moth balled.

Everyone I've approached about this has a knackered or undergoing some changes or needs three weeks written notice!

I'm gonna end up on a solo mission here.

If we get this Indian summer we are promised every year I could be a possible for an October Yorkshire tour.

@Richard.C what are you doing to it. How are you finding the kit..I've Just finished mine off. Where did you mount the controller in the end.

I've actually been trying to make some video of my install and testing but never seem to have time to edit it so I can put it on you tube.

Anyway the Sakebomb kit is good but way over cools the engine, I've tried a couple different modifications and achieved slight improvement but this weekend will involve a separate in line thermostat housing with bypass.

Ideal would be more control of the pump but Craig Davies only have the set controller.

I've just left the controller in the glove box, I will make a little bracket for it when I'm done but ultimately you don't need to look at it or adjust it all the time so the glove box seems fine.

I might also try an AST delete but will do that when I'm happy with the EWP otherwise I'll have too many changes and not where a problem will stem from.

Ahh your using the sakebomb kit. I have done away with the stock pump housing etc. I thought the controller did a good job of controlling warm up and constant temp. I hoping I don't run into the same problems.

I'm not sure there's much chance I'll have it back together on Saturday but if it is I'll need a good drive to test it out, watch this space!

Scratch that, don't bother watching this space I've already found out I don't have all the hose and fittings I'm going to need. The external thermostat housing takes 35mm hose not 38mm, arghhhhhhhh!

I think it's going good to rain a bit this weekend. I might not bother.

We should all do this one day though we got some awesome roads up here

I could be up for this too, work depending obviously. I'm up in Northumberland but if your coming north, I'm up for a drive
