If I get the code for vintage red is that going to be the colour I need or do I have to cross check it with my no. Plate? Are there variations in the codes through year models?

I’m after the code for ‘94 vintage red if anyone has it?
Thought we could keep a list of the codes here maybe.

Vintage red is NU but I believe there may be 3 variations depending on your year.

For reference here’s a few other FD colours.

Vintage Red NU
Montego Blue M8
Brilliant Black PZ
Silverstone Metallic 3L
Competition Yellow J9
Chaste White PT
Sunlight Silver (series 8 silver) 22V
Titanium Grey (Spirit R colour) 25G
Pure White (series 8 white) A3D
Brilliant Black (series 8 black) A3F
Innocent Blue 20P
Sunburst Yellow HZ
Snow White Pearl (2000/2001 RZ) N6

Edit: not that it’s going to match the rest of the pink and orange anyway 🙈🤣

There's 2 codes for montego blue M8 and 2a! M8 wouldn't work in halfrauds last time but 2a did 👍

From what I've seen of the red up close is that a paint code is going to make zero difference unless it's a full body respray as you'll never match the pink, red or slightly grey colour that red seems to go on these cars  :ROFLMAO:

Just called Mazda dealership and they can’t give me the code because it’s an import

You can get it from the VIN easily enough, It'll almost certainly be NU. Mazda won't know the difference between the 3, they only record the code.

Yea I’m not too concerned, as myorcardial says, it’ll never match anyway. I just wanted to make sure as much as possible it was only one code incase I got parts done at a later date.

It's a solid colour, so it's cheap to get mixed up, just buy enough to do the whole car and use the same tin :D.
