No dash lights...

I have no dash lights, I'm pretty sure the dimmer switch is broken. Bulbs are all fine. Meter fuse is fine. Before ordering a new one I thought I'd bridge the pins to see if I could just get the lights on full.

Nope. Bridging just seems to pop the 15A fuse for the tail-lights? What's going on there?

12-01is the controller
3 wires
red/green
black

I tried bridging r/g and bl - nothing
Briding r/b and bl blows the tail light fuse

If I put +/-12v to pins 2 and 3 on the dimmer switch would I expect to see a variable voltage on pin 1? Or vice versa pin 1 and 3?

I need to go and extract the TNS relay from the retarded place I hid it away and see if it's damaged

In the bumper somewhere, in front of the crash bar. Pretty sure I put it right way up though!

ah that's the one I'm gonna try and relocate.

Vmount fitted so had to move it so might put it in the boot like some other mad man on here did.
