Hello all,
I’m looking at changing my turbo as the one I currently have is huge.
It’s a Honeywell GT4094 with Garrett core and billet comp wheel but way to big to be good on track.
The engine is a studded full bridge built by GarageReg and I’m shooting for mid to low 500’s with as much response as I can get without running out of puff at higher RPM.
The garage my car is at has recommended a Turbosmart 6466 as he has one on his and really rates it. But after speaking to Stu he said when mapping it (low psi running in map) it felt like it was choking up at the top end.
What experience do people have that would suit my needs, any Dyno charts?
I was looking at BW ERF 8474 but I’m not 100% on that yet.
So please share recommendations
