Hey there,

long time lurker on RX7Club and here for almost two years, finally got my FD a few days ago. Was searching on and off for a few years already but impulsively bought a Caterham Super 7 two years ago, thus the RX-7 had to wait a little longer....
until last wednesday, the 1st of april, when i pulled the trigger and got my seven another seven as a neighbor.

The RX-7 has very creative (but working) wiring in the passenger foot room and an Adaptronic from 2018 with a wideband sensor - both will be for sale soon ;)
Piping in the engine bay was a bit loose and i am not happy with how it is routed. Air pump and some small stuff has already been removed by the previous owner. Interior is in mostly good condition and everything works. Most important: Engine came new in 2021 and compression values are between 109 and 115.
Car has some small rust spots on the paint were previously the mirrors and spoiler was, also some small rust spot behind the boot lid.

The plan for this project: EFR 8374 or 8474 Single Turbo Kit with the needed fuel supplies for up to 450/500hp, Haltech Nexus S2, an RE Amemiya AD-GT Widebody kit and, if the budget allows, Midnight Purple 3 as a color.

Some more pics, also the ugly spots:
Small oil drops after letting it run, around 4-5 drops. Wiring chaos. Rust spots behind the lid. A Lime rental scooter drove into the side, replacement already ordered to make it streetworthy again.
I also got a lot of parts, second engine, HVAC and much more, which i will list for sale soon. Also some RHD lights.

Small progress over the weekend:
- did an oil change
- fitted another over-fender so i am allowed on the road again

Idle issues still persists (1500rpm) but the idle goes down to steady 900 rpm when unplugging the icv. However, then the car dies when trying to reverse even when revving up to 2.500rpm when letting the clutch come.
Probably an issue with the tune but not sure. AFR readings are ok but the lambda targets set are way too high. Guess i will have to dig into the adaptronic...
