Max power through oem cat

Hey everyone just looking for some info regarding how much power can be saftey pushed though the oem series 8 mid cat.

I totally understand that either a higher flowing cat or decat would be optimal but looking too just pair a cat back exhaust with a down pipe and pfc for a quick safe tune and was wondering is it even worth tuning with the down pipe if the oem cat can't handle any increase ?

They will be going at some point for sure mate just when I get rid of the cat ill do the whole lot down pipe , intercooler ect ect just doing a quick tune for the time being

I wasnt knocking the twins mate, i loved mine. The seq system has a great powerband.

I had 409bhp on my early spec twins and it ran lap after lap for years

100% mate anything around the 350-400hp mark will be more then enough for me too enjoy the fd over years too come i think
