Alright guys!

I'm shortly going to be upgrading front brakes to a set of ksports and potentially whipping out the ABS as well.

Is there any benefit to me upgrading the master cylinder while I'm doing the above? If so, any suggestions on what to go for?

The usual upgrade is the 929 master cylinder which is slightly larger bore. There is a small mod you need to do which I forget but other than that bolt on

One thing that is a good idea is to upgrade the rear as well, the rz/rs rears are a good upgrade. I found this help balance the car much better under braking on one of my old cars that had the 8pot ksports up front.

yeh I have 8pots front 4pots rear with the conversion that allows you to use your orginal handbrake cables, ksport managed to keep the bias the same via the piston sizes.

Cheers guys! Think I'll look into the 929 master cylinder swap for now.

I'm still mulling on what to do with rear brakes. Ksport said they don't think their rears would legit pass an MOT as the handbrake isn't strong enough, so have only gone for fronts for now.

Might look for an RS/RZ rear setup - no idea what sort of money they go for though.

Would be helpful to know which size rotors you are all talking about. Will make a difference comparing 356mm ksport fronts to oem 294mm rears vs 330mm ksport fronts

Would a rear upgrade be necessary if using the smaller 330mm fronts? Overall k sport piston area is less than the OEM 4 pots, which would offset the impact on bias of the larger disc up until a point...

Sorry, its the 356mm 8 pot front setup....

And yeh, ksport themselves told me that. Quote from their email below:

"Unfortunately the rears can only be made with the KSport handbrake option, and I need to be honest with you and tell you the efficiently on them is not suitable enough for an MOT and may cause you to fail the MOT test."

Given mine is a road car and I don't fancy my car rolling away down a hill, I dipped out at that point and decided to look into rears a bit more.
