Hello all
I'm having a fun time trying to do the idle learn for my PFC.
IV run through the procedure 3 times now and the idle just never stabilises.
I figured a good starting point is to check all the idle screws on the TB are set correctly.
Here in lies my question!
Where are all of them and how should they be set?
My car is mostly stock bar an intake but I want to nail down the idle before I start adding and removing anything else.

Have you checked the TPS values are within spec? You shouldn’t really mess with the screws unless the car has never idled properly to begin with.

Also is your throttle body stock, as in not had the secondary butterflies deleted (double throttle mod). If not I believe there’s 4 screws used to adjust idle and plates. If you look at the throttle body as it sits in the engine bay, facing you there should be 2 screws, these only adjust the position of the throttle plates inside. There’s another screw on the firewall side of the TB, this is for the warm idle adjust. The one you may want to play with is the 4th and unfortunately the most awkward one to get to which is at the bottom of the TB , directly next to the lower stud closest to firewall.....there’s a hole you can get your flathead screwdriver in, this adjusts the amount of air affecting the idle.

I would check your TPS values first, on your commander for power F.C. go into etc. Then sensor as......the vta1 and vta2 settings are the ones you want to check. The FSM has the specs you need. If Ok then start with thisair adjustment screw. Small adjustments at a time and it’ll hopefully sort your issue.
