@Super_Triple_L - everyone that I have spoken to has given Rotor Torque really positive feedback and I have to say so far the engagement with Stu has been excellent.

In terms of warranty I’m not sure if there is an offer there, I’d guess with how hard I plan to use it there won’t be haha! I hadn’t really considered it but with the right build, the correct use of the new ECUs safety features plus proper maintenance by me I’m sure it’ll be reliable. (Famous last words) 😂

Yeah Stu's a diamond, mine will be getting finished and mapped once the (sodding) injectors turn up and I plumb my RyWire in, I've spoken to him a fair bit but hadn't covered rebuilds yet, thought that would be tempting fate too much... lol

Aye stu is a good lad, In safe hands there. Just don't boot it with a quarter tank of fuel. EVER :)

They can suffer from fuel starvation on corners, especially while under boost :P hence why people recommend over 1/4 a tank. The internal baffles in the tank are rather poor! If you don't fancy having fuel in the cabin there are baffle setups you can quite literally drop in.

This for track use though? Or normal road driving?

I was thinking of getting one of those baffles as well. Another option is you can do an external swirl pot setup so you don’t have it in the boot. It could be mounted on the rear subframe or where charcoal canister sits once you remove it (I’ve read it’s a tight fit though)

Baffle seems to be the easiest and cheapest solution

there are a few options ive tested.
1. Don't run less than a quarter tank of fuel (I thought by now this would be common knowledge. so many rotaries have died in this situation)
2. Intank pump with intank baffle such as feed. (only issue with this is if your over 500bhp generaly you need 2 pumps and you cant fit two pumps in a feed baffle)
3. External fuel system aka swirlpot and external pumps. (Works great. Can be noisy as fuck if using the 044 pumps, gets expensive with all the fittings needed.)
4. Fuel cell with integrated pumps. (works fine, smaller tank cases less fuel slosh)
 
Yeah think I’ll look into a swirl pot set up. Had similar in my 5 and managed to keep it underneath the car with dual pump set up. The only downside as pointed out would be noise but I reckon could handle that if it means a car that lives a long happy life.

If it’s an external swirl pot you’d probably wouldn’t hear it over the exhaust😂
If my setup doesn’t work out then I’ll probably do swirl as well, you can pretty much run the tank dry (not literally) with no problems
 
The stock 99+ collector box lid (similar to the above baffle image) does a great job. I run a UK spec Denso Supra pump (higher flow rate, but identical externally to RX7) in a 99+ car and can run down to an indicated empty on track. The only time I've had it hesitate was doing a fast U-turn on a roundabout after the light had been on for a few miles.

I would always try to avoid additional fuel lines/fittings/pumps/noise etc especially inside the car. Too many potential leak paths.
