The mouth of my front bumper has several bolt holes that arnt used and dont really line up with anything, meaning they sort of cover up more airflow through the mouth than I think it should. Does anyone have any details on where these bolt holes are supposed to mount to? The top one lines up with some holes that have no thread I think so not sure how its meant to attach. The bottom lip just has absolutely nothing even close.

Yeah, same on mine, I have guessed that it's for the stock undertray but I'm interested to find out too :D

This bit?
I have the early bumper if it makes a difference - I had a look at a blurry diagram but it was not high qual enough for me to really tell. That site might have a higher res one for the early bumper though Ill take a look, thanks

This was the one I saw but I cant figure out where the inner bolt holes connect to?

Yeah that does look about right! I don't believe I have a part like that installed which is probably why nothing matches up! A quick google also shows a lot of "air guide" threads:

Any idea where I can buy these parts for S6 bumper?

Edit: the photo above is actually a custom design to hold the mouth open. Might have to get to work fabbing more stuff up...
