Front lower ball joint dust boot

Been doing a few jobs on the fd the last few weeks ready for the dryer weather and noticed the lower dust cover was split on the one side.

I had a pack of generic covers but all were much to small, so i took a few measurements and found these on eBay.

Item 254100775640 for a mazda 6.

At £3.90 for 2 delivered with metal retaining rings (not the normal cable ties) i bought 2 sets.

Not really expecting much from them at the price, they appear well made and fit easily. The only issue i had was removing it after trial fitting to regrease the joint.
