I need your help guys. I have been offered a nice set of gram lights for a decent price but they 18x9 et12 and I'm thinking the offset is a bit too aggressive for the fd. I want to avoid arch rolling if I can help it.

That is aggressive. From what I have been looking at anything above et30 on a 9" is too much (without wide arch kit). I want more of a practical setup. Hate any stretch.

I've actually been looking at 5 spoke wheels for ages, but can't find any in decent sizes. Don't want to splash out on Works etc.

That's what I was expecting but thought I'd check. It's a shame because they are nice wheels at a good price but like you I want a more practical set up ideally, hence looking for 17's. The search continues...

I got some regamasters the other day. 17x9 et38 and 17x8 et35. They came with 255/40 rear 235/45 front.

I got rid of the 18" team dynamics jade r , although good design they were really heavy. But Concaves look great on an FD.

Slipstream do look like regas, but has anyone actually got any? Are they the same shape or are the faces more bulbous?

Tbh I'd rather not use replicas. I don't think I even like rotas either even "genuine rotas" lmao.

The whole reason you buy regamasters is because they are ultra lightweight forged alloy wheel.

That's true. Id rather not use replicas either, but it's the price/availability that's the issue for me. Also if one gets damaged you can easily get a replacement.

Got 7twenty now and they look ridicoulus from behind.. not wide enough

Regas are the holy grail of five spokes, they made my Advan RG's feel heavy. Wish I'd kept my old ones that I got off Phil...I think they're on someones FD on here somewhere?

What about some SSR Koenig? Not exactly light weight but simple and can have a nice amount of dish, if you like that style
