Has anyone seen any for sale or have on the their car? i understand it can be quite a weight saving?

I can see the point on a track car but on a road car they are shite.....just my opinion...ive had both..

what dont you like about it ? i am deleting the rear wiper ect so that wont be an issue.

The fit on them is never great...I assume you will be going lexan as the tailgate isn't that heavy without glass..the lexan doesn't seem to bond well and seems to loosen over time.. if you are going to lighten the whole car ..forged wheels..carbon brakes, carbon doors etc then go for it...otherwise you won't notice any difference...

I am looking to save weight but still retain as much of a stock look and feel as possible, looks like i will be keeping the standard tail gate and delete the wiper and washer. Thanks for the advice
