FC Areo mirrors on a FD ? Has anyone done it?

I am looking for areo mirrors for my FD has anyone fitted FC mirrors?
Are the mounting holes the same?

Pretty sure fc mirrors are mounted more up by the window like most cars opposed to the body of the door like the fd!

Did knoghtsports or someone like that not male aero mirrors like these for the FD?..

If not I’d speak to drakes about a custom Triangle mount for them! would be cool as

I doubt they'll fit, only options I can think of would be Ganador or RE-Amemiya for Aero mirrors

I have taken a punt on a cheap pair of aftermarket mirrors similar to the fc ones

This is a cool idea! The mirrors on this early r-magic car look like FC aero ones, a bit wider maybe, but ive never seen a set and they dont list them on their website either. Maybe these were modified FC ones? I noticed they cover the original mounting holes by the looks of it.

Looks like the mirror is mounted in fd location there tom but then made into a dummy fc location sort of look!

I recognise that username! I know it's not much use but I reckon a little searching around and you'd find a set like the r magics! Seems to be a running thing with them to look like they're mounted on more at the window than stock fd location!

The mirrors in post #6 and #9 look to be Aero Marker ones, here's a set for sale on feebay and an expired ad for another set from upgarage

I have just taken a punt on some dtm morrors which are very close to the ones in the top picture they dont have the lug bits under the mirror so more compact. Iam trying to end up with the car looking like the attached picture.
Will keep updated when they arrive.

I think that was the one i snapped up was it an orange one ? Oh and the mirrors didn't work out the triangles need to be custom made.
