So this is where everyone has been hiding,
Right still need advice and my build thread has obviously gone so start again.

After my engine blew I needed to get the car rolling so just threw the suspension in. It it’s not right.

I got the Quantum zero shocks and they wouldn’t fit with the standard rubber bushing, quantum told me this was not needed but it doesn’t seem right,

The strut hat meets a washer and then strut tower and that’s it, no bushing, no top mount nothing.

Anyone know of a top mount / bushing that will fit with this set up or what has been done wrong?

Original bushing is half circle and new strut thread is full round so obviously won’t fit through

Hard to see on your pics. But my HSD monopros have metal top plates that bolt to straight to the body, no bushings.

All the aftermarket adjusable I've used or seen don't re-use the OE rubber and just bolt up. Like Joe say's it's hard to see from the phots you've taken what's going on.

Just found this,
I didn’t install my suspension I was abroad but I was FaceTiming my installer and I know he tried something similar to this but it wouldn’t fit as the video shows,
Even still seems a bit weird doing it this way,

Will have to take a look whenever I can next get to colums and see if it can be done as shown here
