Cheapo wing thoughts

I've taken a gamble on a wing found on eBay, and to my surprise the fitment is pretty damn good!

The wing came in black as you can see and I'm wanting opinions on whether I should keep it this way or would it look better with red supports? I'm really torn tbh.

The supports are moulded well to fit the hatch shape, so theres no gaps. I know what you mean evo wise but they have flat boot lids so im really not sure!

I think what Neil means is that it seems a bit narrow for the car. The legs don’t even make it close to the edge of the tailgate. I’m not a fan, IMHO it looks a bit odd for that reason

Yeah I'd agree with that. If you're going to paint it, extend the blade to make the uprights full hatch width, then it'd look decent imo .

would any old body shop be able to extend the blade? Have to admit I was wondering if I could actually widen it

You probably could! Id be inclined to measure out to the hatch on either side, whatever that no. Is, looks to me abut 100 - 150mm then what I would do is make a mould top and bottom of the centre of the wing so it makes 2 half's, use them as moulds, (did I say it twice? Yep it's staying in there lol ) then I'd cut the blade and extend it from the centre! Maybe make some fibre glass supports inside the blade at your joins just to be safe!
I'm not a fibreglasser but it's just my 2 penneth! If it's too much hassle then maybe have a chat with edrx7, he does spoilers and all sorts! Maybe he could point you in the right direction! Personally though I'd just get stuck in, spesh if the wing was cheap ?

Bit short me old china, Marc with the V8 is selling Knightsport twin blade, i was going to buy that before I put mine up for sale.

for the sake of 200-250 caant remember how much he wants, and its fucking rare, would could buy it and sell for tripple on RX7 Club.....
