What's everyone's thoughts on chassis mount wings? They're really growing on me and I'm considering one but the thought of hacking up my bumper is worrying me if I decide I don't like it.
Obviously the purists will say you should keep them original but it's far too late for me with that one.

Ugly looking things imo. Unless you are a genuine gt racer and a regular bgw is not providing enough downforce i can't see the point .

They are extra, far too much fun wing for a road car, but if you track it and like it then go nuts dude

Looks like theres not much love for them which I kind of expected. I will be tracking the car more now I've got the bug for it. Its not really a road car, just shows and trackdays really

If you like it go for it, don't worry what anyone else thinks personally I don't mind them.
I would do what I wanted that's for sure. I'm on the fence as I do like them but might just be a step to far and a bit too ricey

I like them, needs a pretty aggressive looking car to pull it off imo though. Your car is crying out for some AD GT widebody goodness ;).
I agree, I really like the ad gt kit especially with the rear canards. The problem is I like the amemiya skirts that are on now and they are very rare.

I was thinking of doing just the rear ad gt over fenders and canards and blending the current side skirts but it wouldn't be an easy fit as the skirts don't go up high enough to meet the over fenders

I think you need more aggressive body styling to pull it off (like the two in the first post). Not my cup of tea for a street car but will look great on track

additionally, something not mentioned yet is the issue i have with a CF hatch. You just cant mount a large wing to it due to flex and strength. Same applies for a FG hatch. Its the main reason why i am considering a Chassis mount. you also get the benefit of being able to still open the hatch when required.

If you have a look at Kermits fixings I took them out to the the wings for that very reason
