Centre console box lid repair

Has anyone ever managed to repair the padded lid that sits on the centre console - as I’m learning everything plastic in an FD is actually made of toffee - the hinge on a lid I just bought has snapped ( looking at it - it’s simply a piece of reduced plastic that they call a hinge

25 yr old plastic chief, get a new one from mazda.

You could always get two narrow hobbie hinges or some small plastic hinges and ABS plastic welding rods and repair with a soldering iron.

Something like these black ones, don't use the screws either bond or plastic weld through the holes..
