Brake conversions

What are some easy upgrades to the brakes to get a bigger disc? Do we have any calipers, brackets, discs from other cars that fit fairly seemlessly? For example some subarus like to use 350Z brembos because they are cheap and are basically a bolt-on. Not really interested in aftermarket upgrades as I want to have good options for discs and pads which can be harder to source if they are aftermarket caliper fitment.

Julian Seipp makes a bracket kit to fit Brembos from a Civic Type R, you can find them on eBay. The only thing that is truly bolt on are the larger RZ brakes which are a pain to find.

Thanks for the link. So plus calipers and lines probably edging upto £1k but still not too bad for something that large. Has anyone tried this with 17's or are these strictly 18's only?

Not sure there is anything that really works without upsetting the brake ballance. Except aftermarket that is.

EBC have had my car in to develop a big brake kit, this will work with stock RS 17” wheels but could be a while before release

For the ears you can just buy the RS caliper mounts and discs and hey presto big rear brakes.
The front are slightly more difficult, I believe there was someone on here/face book selling a set of RS brake calipers.
