Yo Guys,

Any recommendations for decent caliper paint?

I've used POR15 stuff in the past, applied it with a zinc primer, no lacquer, with a brush, well sponge type brush.
Result were OK, but I'd like better results this time TBH

So something rattle can (don't have a sprayer)
Brush primer is still ok I guess? - maybe have to sand?
Then a high temp lacquer

Thinking of sand blasting (have one at work) this calipers as they're a bit of a mess, paint is flaking off them, will leave old pistons in

I mean, I have tried a few but last time I did mine was with Halfords Own.... It was like piss water, but still looks good to me lol
just gave them a good scrub up with brake cleaner and painted it on. no drama

Ive recently done both rears and fronts and found the caliper paint (both brush on and spray) gives a rubbish finish. I experimented with some high temp enamel paint last and it applied lovely! It's ok up to 600 degrees so believe it will be ok, not that I know what temp the calipers get to...

I bead blasted mine and painted them bare with VHT caliper paint. Seams to be holding up but I don't have many miles on the car. I did follow the instructions and bake them in the oven to cure them (my housemate was not impressed. Smelly food).

Cheers guys, enamel looks good, but only cans I can find are 200*C not 500 sure it'll be fine like but.

Found this from Ceylon so I'll prob go with VHT

Need to make up some brake fluid banjo blanks too to stop all the fluid draining
