Bonnet stay clip

Anyone have a loose or ill fitting bonnet sty clip?
Mine was broken when I bought my car so looked to replace it. I followed a link to replacements on here that didn’t fit properly, I also was led to believe the mx5 ones are the same.
Again this also doesn’t fit properly.

All seem very loose and come out easily.

I’ve attached a picture to show what I mean, video wouldn’t load for some reason.

Any input, or advise would be great. It’s something so small but it’s annoying me that it doesn’t fit properly.
Am I missing a washer or something for it?

I bought brand new from Mazda for about £4 fits perfect I'll post the part number when I'm home if you need it

Yes please.
The Mazda one pictured was recommended by an rx7 specialist as being the same part.
It was also purchased from a Mazda dealer.

Maybe I need to order another from Mazda instead

I bought these in April

the fact its a G number looks like i's used cross model, but the FD01 number will be specific

Not sure where I said order from Atkins ?
