Black 1993 Owner and I love it!

Thought I would pop in and say hi. I have bought a black original twin turbo 1993 fd.







It doesn't come without its problems but overall a great original car.







The previous service approx 200 miles ago the people put special tec aa liqui Moli 5w30 oil in it along with ceratec. I wmhave just dumped that today and put some mineral 15w40 in it. I have also added some redline 2 stroke racing oil to a full tank of Momentum 99 .



The electrics are all a bit temperamental, the tailgate has water in it, the sump leaking and the paint is a bit faded. Also normal stuff like the passenger interior handle is broken. Looking forward to getting stuck in and getting to know some of you a little better.

Its not crazy busy around these parts in winter, its definately seasonal! Welcome. And good move with the oil. The passenger handle is an easy enough fix, the hard part is screaming at passengers every time they go to grab it once youve fixed it!

I had to fight with a damp boot issue myself, I think in the end it turned out to be the two cord tunnels didnt seat correctly (the rubber things next to the hatch hinge). Also check and seal spoiler drill holes (usually 4 bolt holes). The window seal shouldnt permit water through to the inside either but you never know.
